I am a Telecommunications Professional in Product Marketing. I live on the sunshine (west) coast of central Florida. I have always considered myself a frustrated musician. I have a good ear for music, but was never able to master playing an instrument.
I play guitar, pick at a keyboard and have played the drums in the past. I first started using computers to create music with a Commodore 64 using Music Construction program. Then I discovered the Amiga which at that time was superior to the PC with music and graphics.
My current setup includes a Pentium/100 PC, Sound Blaster32 with a
WaveBlaster, Roland E-36 Intelligent Synthesizer, Casio CT-6500 (c.1985
used for mainly electronic piano and organs sounds), and a Roland 16
channel mixer. I use Cakewalk Professional for Windows for sequencing and modifying MIDI files. I like the features and flexibility Cakewalk provides me, i.e., embedding WAV files in my songs.
I like all types of music but I center around pop and classic rock.
